The Wine Thief in Mt. Airy has announced that they will beginning a new Happy Hour starting today! The details are below.

When: Everyday except Tuesdays and Sundays (They are closed on Tuesdays.)

Time: 4PM – 6PM

Specials: $3 beer specials, $3 wine specials, $6 wings and “big kid” macaroni and cheese, $3 fries

When restaurant owner, Brian Pieri’s mother lost her battle with breast cancer, he, along with family and friends, created The Debbie Pieri Angel Foundation in order to help contribute to the lives of others also suffering from this terrible disease.

On February 20th, the owner of The StoneRose in Conshohocken is asking everyone to join him in raising money to support this wonderful cause by enjoying a night of fun, food and drinks at The Second Annual Casino Night.

What: 2nd Annual Casino Night featuring Roulette, Black Jack, Texas Hold ‘Em, Raffles and Prizes

Downtown Conshohocken

Tomorrow night, Wednesday, January 20th from 7PM to 10PM, 11 Conshohocken and West Conshohocken restaurants will be hosting fund raisers for the relief fund in Haiti by donating 20% of the proceeds to The American Red Cross.

I am so proud of Conshohocken AKA my hometown, for coming together with such unity to express just how strong the human spirit can truly be. In these economic times, it is quite a statement that these restaurants are willing to reach into their pockets and give the grief stricken nation of Haiti, not a few dollars, but 20% of proceeds of the prime time dinner hour. We hope as many people as possible will try to make it out and support their efforts.

Starting Saturday, January 30th, Alison Two will begin offering cooking classes in the kitchen of the Fort Washington restaurant. The first class will focus on “Foods of Hawaii” and last 2 hours from 10AM to 12PM. Students will taste their dishes as well. The class is $35pp and space is limited.
